Quotzy (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use our mobile application (“App”).

1. Information We Collect

We collect only limited information necessary to provide and improve the App.

a) Authentication Information
To use the App, you may sign in using Google. Depending on the platform, additional sign-in methods may be available. Through this process, we may receive:

- your name

- your email address (depending on provider settings)

This information is used only for authentication and personalization.

b) User-Provided Information
You may optionally provide:

- name

- date of birth

- preferences (themes, favorite quotes, categories)

This data is stored locally on your device and/or securely synchronized using Firebase services to provide a consistent experience across your devices.

c) Automatically Collected Information
We and our third-party partners may collect:

- device type and OS version

- app usage data

- crash logs and diagnostics

- advertising identifiers (such as Apple's IDFA or Android Advertising ID, where applicable)

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

- provide access to the App

- personalize quotes and themes

- sync your data across devices

- improve performance and user experience

- display advertisements (if consent is given)

We do not sell your personal data.

3. Subscriptions and Payments (Pro Features)

The App offers optional paid features ("Pro") through the official in-app purchase system of your device platform (Apple App Store or Google Play).

1. Payments are processed by Apple or Google Play, depending on your device.

2. We do not collect or store your payment or credit card details.

3. We receive limited transaction data (such as product identifier, purchase status, region, and timestamp) to unlock features and prevent fraud.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled through your Apple or Google Play account settings. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account, depending on your device, and can be managed through your device's subscription settings.

4. Tips (Motivation Jar – available on iOS only)

The App may offer optional one-time tips (“Motivation Jar”).

1. Payments are processed by Apple.

2. We do not store billing details.

3. We only receive confirmation data (product ID, region, timestamp).

Tips are voluntary, do not unlock features. Refunds are handled by Apple according to their policies.

5. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services:

6. Advertising and Tracking

We use Google AdMob to display ads.

AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data.

We request consent where required by applicable laws and platform requirements.

For iOS devices, tracking permission is requested through Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework.

For iOS devices, users can change tracking permissions at any time in the device Settings.

You may withdraw or update your consent preferences at any time within the App (where available).

For users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, we use Google’s Consent Management Platform (CMP) to manage consent.

We do not use cross-app or cross-website tracking without obtaining any permissions or consent required by applicable laws and platform requirements.

7. Content and Attribution

The App includes visual and design resources from third-party platforms:

1. Unsplash – background images provided under free license

2. Flaticon – icons used under license

3. Google Fonts – fonts stored locally (no data transmitted)

We acknowledge and respect the rights of all creators.

Some content is marked as “Quotzy Originals”, created using design tools and AI. These assets are the intellectual property of Quotzy and may not be reused without permission.

8. Data Storage and Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data. However, no system can guarantee absolute security. User data may be stored securely using Firebase services to synchronize your experience across devices.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

- access your data

- request deletion of your account and associated cloud data

- withdraw consent for tracking

10. Data Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary to provide services or comply with legal obligations.

11. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
